WHAT A WEEKEND (camping )

Ok folks when they say 20% of rain ................that really MEANS FLASH FLOOD from the woodworks.


I have been so excited to going camping. So since i am co chair of the program we had to be out there day early (fri). SO all day friday i packed just with so much excitment i couldnt wait . Finally its the big time to GET OUT there.............YEAH we are going camping.............

Well we get out there the wind is blowing 90 to nothing so a sweet boy helps me set up my two room large .........ok giant tent. So every other thought wasnt nice to the wind but we did it had to use rope but hey i got a tent UP .. YIPPIE ...............

Well its getting dark (ok its probably because its 7ish ) NOT because we are under 20% of rain . Well we will just sit in the tent for a while no biggie. Well WRONG again . SO we grab the two rolls of paper towels and start putting it by the doors because its leaking in my tent because of the way my tent is made (ARGGGG). no biggie got it taken care of >>>>>>>>>NOT so lets grab a blanket that will stop the rain ...............NOT .......ok lets grab my jacket and stop the water....................NOT ok this point i told Bailey take your shirt off. Of course i heard MOMMM .................JUST DO IT ............. so that still didn't work and at this time of the excitement i have a lake about 15 feet or so RIGHT behind my tent(thinking camping by a lake oh how nice it would be etc ) So now we are about 2hours into this rain pour(remember its only 20% ) and i am freaking out by now. SO they are rescuing us in a 4x4 truck. Well it was feeling like it was taking FOREVER to be rescued. I start calling my Co chair fussing and crying and freaking with her GET ME OUT OF HERE. I had two boys in my tent (one decided he would roll over and take a nap .... my son) and the other one was s trooper and helping me hold the tent and etc.


WELL by the time we got rescued out..........it was about 3hours from the time it started. There was ankle deep water in my tent and around outside. Remember the ONE lake i told you about well afterwards and today (when we went back out there to get the stuff ) it was more like 5 lakes that had no where to go . SO of course we canceled the event (DUH i wasn't swimming around doing Dino events ) . SO we made it home safe around midnight . Well i take the stuff to moms (she has a big yard ) and we lay it all out to dry and now guess what happen around 4 today when we got back from eating.................................YES YOU got it RAINED........so now my stuff is still sitting out in the rain (tent, tables, etc ) .......

SO that's my weekend. I wasn't happy when all this took place and i have never prayed so hard in my life like i did last night. Now we are laughing about all the crazy things that took place.

So do you think your weekend was better then mind i would love to hear it .lol

SO this is my famous camping trip i will never forget.. I have been camping for two years i have copper head and bats around my tent, extreme cold weather hot weather, ..........BUT this one topped it all . I think what made it the worest the wind was a nightmare to deal with .



Well off to clean house and get ready for my tupperware show tomorrow (pray i do great ) .
ALso pray that i pass my written test on friday for my new job.

ps YES i will still go camping . Yes i still love camping.

YES i am alive lol

Sorry i been MIA. I have had a week from .............oh i wont go there lol. Lets just say its been a week i hope i dont have to redo again. Good thing though is i KNOW God will help me make the RIGHT choices, will be there FOR ME, and WONT let me have too much to handle in life with out his help of guideness.


This weekend we are camping .........i am excited i love camping only part i wont get to shower until sunday..............hahhaha want to smell me lol.

Diet is there ........going to start a soup or say a very light diet (raw veggies, soups, water, water, water, ) the scale is moving up and down between a freaking ONE pound.. SO i will be on a mission next week to GET IT DOWN DOWN lol.

ITS FRIDAY

Hey friends

WEll its friday the scale didnt move..........but i didnt gain this week so thats a plus right ?

I take my test today for cdl for bus. Sure hope i pass it.
I found another bone this morning and starting to wonder if i look like a skelton because i feel like one with all these bones poping up on my body i never knew i had. lol

Kids are great . They are getting excited for camps. I love summer and camping. I am so glad i am blessed that i can do tons of things in the summer with my kids instead of just sitting at home and playing in the yard. Its night to stay home but its great when your kids can explore what God has given us.


WEll karley is singing BULL FROGS and BUTTERFLIES so guess thats a cue for me to get off here.

Well just stoping by to say HI. Not much to chat about. So i will share some things that i can DO or is happening to me now that didnt 4months ago.



Cross my legs
bend over and touch toes
fit in those darn white yard chairs
run
tons of energy
tons of comments i get daily (when you fat you dont never hear anything postive ) now sometimes i am like just shut up lolol THOUGH i am eating it up when someone tells me i look great ................THANKS it helps me alot keeps me going on

I have shorts that i kept for years that i never could wear ..........now they are too loose .

I have more friends now then i have ever before.
I am very much more active in things and outdoors now too
I am eating healthier then ever before.
Foods i ate all my life now dont sound good to me or taste bad now. (guess your taste buds change)


WEll i will post more tomorrow i got to pack lunches

Support group meeting (april)

Wanted to share some pictures. These are friends who have lost weight from wls and they are the sweetiest folks i know. We didnt take the easy way out by having wls we took the hard way out and gained wonderful friends. Thanks Sean for all you do for our group . Thanks for being there for my stupid questions. Best of all Thanks for letting me give ya a hard time with everyone else.........if we couldnt we wouldnt be normal lol.

PawPaw

I was told today that it would of been my PawPaw's 97th Birthday today. My grandfather passed at age 87 (then two months later my father ). You dont realize how much those people have impacted your life until they are gone.

I find my self sometimes doing things that my grandfather and father did rather its cooking, gardening (my new thing in life ), talking, or even thinking or watching tv.

My grandfather didnt know a stranger (just like my father or me at that ) . He was liked by everyone. HE LOVED to jigger bug (its cajun dancing) but in his own way so of course it was funny to watch him. The man had a green thumb out of this world. HE loved to be out in the sun gardening . He was in the war and served in WW2. There will never be enough words to express what that man MET to me.
I LOVE YOU PAWPAW and one day i will see you and dad in heaven. .........LOVE YOU GUYS LOTS



PS if you havent told your love ones how much they mean to you DO IT you never know when its your time or theirs...........

howdy

Wow i have tons to chat about but not enough time to .

so here is a few things

1. HE IS RISEN .........

2. I have had a sore throat for last few days and it seems to be getting worst so please pray that it goes way .


3. The children's father came home (unexpected work related) so the kids got to spend lots of time with him and me. The bunny came on Friday night here .


4. My weekend is going great got a bill changed so hoping it will save on money. .. I have been cutting back on alot of things and bills are the first thing to go lol.

5. WE had Easter dinner early since russ was home at my mom's it was so much fun. Then mom and me went to walmart . Its so fun to just have those few mins with your mom no matter where it is .


6. Monday i am taking my test for CDL please say a small prayer i pass it .

7. I only have 6 weeks left of teaching . I a sad but happy at the same time. I love teaching and wish i could do it more but after 15 years the money just isn't there for me to help on my part of the bills so i must move on to something that is full time and more money. I will miss my co workers - friends but its something that has to be done. I know the lord will bless me and my family in this transition .

8. My labs came back low on Vitamin D (already bought some extra to take) good on iron and high on something that helps my liver function but been told this is normal so we will see

9 WOW lot above well you all have a great day . I am off to baby this throat (if there is such a thing lol) .

Hi Yall,


Well i am 2 lbs from 70 YIPPIe . Sharing something strange with you guys ...........When i am on my cycle i loose more weight then i do when i have a normal week ..........isnt that strange. Maybe i should wish for aunt flow to see me every day for the next two months and by then i should meet my goal lol.

We are all sick but ok . Karley is doing better. Thanks for all the concerns on her.
Well not much to chat about ..............maybe next time.

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year o ld son waiting for him at the door.SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?' DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?'the mansaid angrily.SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.The man sat down andstarted to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started tothink:Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said theman.'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled.Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

It's been a while since i posted. I hope you are all doing well. Well i am staying home today with a sick baby girl . She has had fever now for a soild day now and going on second day . Pleas pray for her...............i hate when my kids are sick. So if she doesnt break it today i will be calling the doctor. I am doing well. I have a busy weekend and cant wait till its over lol.
Everyone is doing well. Well off to wake up the monster (bailey ) he is so hard to wake up on some days. lol
